👉 Do you feel like you've messed something up so much that there's no going back?
Failure can paralyze us. But what if it is in the greatest trouble that you can find the beginning of something new — and truly healing?
1. Stop hiding it
We all have moments in our lives that we are not proud of. Sometimes it's a mistake we repeat. Sometimes a thing we are ashamed of. And we often feel that if anyone knew about it, they would stop taking us seriously.
But it is what we hide that holds us back the most.
👉 A true new beginning only comes when you allow yourself to be honest. Not perfect -- sincere. Either in front of someone else, or just in front of yourself.
2. Ask yourself: Can you forgive someone else? So why not to yourself?
When someone close to us makes a mistake, we are often able to find understanding. We say to ourselves, “Everyone fails sometimes. The important thing is what you do with it next. “
But when it comes to ourselves, we tend to be much tougher. We punish ourselves, even though no one else has done it for a long time.
👉 How about you try thinking differently?
What if your mistake wasn't the end -- but just the intersection?
3. Accept that grace is just for people like you (and me)
Maybe you're waiting for the moment to “get your act together.” When you compare it in your head. When you stop making mistakes. When you're better.
But what if the new beginning isn't up afterward?
What if there is now -- exactly at this point where you're not ideal, but you're open?
👉 Grace is not a reward for flawlessness. It is a space where you can grow. And take a breath again.
👉 You are not defined by what you failed to do.
👉 You are not the sum of your greatest failures.
👉 You're a person who always has a chance — right now.
